When you think of wildlife places, then Queen Elizabeth national park should be one of the first locations that come to your mind. This park located in the western part is the second largest in Uganda. The recommendable park is the most famous and loved by the safariers because of the glorious mountains of the moon. There is something special about this mountain that touches the soul. The name Mountains of the moon comes from a traditional belief that the peaks actually reach the moon. The park covers four main districts; Bushenyi, Kasese, Rukungiri, and Kamwenge which are all beautiful towns to visit.
What makes this park breathtaking is the mix of exhilarating wildlife encounters, glorious scenery that offers a different and exciting experience to its safariers. The climbing lions are the highlights of any African safari; it’s the major attraction that brings a lot of safariers to this park. One of the star attractions is the breathtakingly cool and beautiful landscape that gives you a glimpse of the pearly glamour of Uganda. The extensive savannah, humid forests, glistening lakes, and fertile wetlands are habitat to an estimated 95 mammals inclusive of the endangered chimps and over 600 species of beautiful birds.
